Registered Nurse

Train for a career as a Registered Nurse at Swedish Institute!

The Nursing program at Swedish Institute prepares students for the NCLEX-RN licensure exam to achieve an RN licensure and enter this in-demand profession. Successful completion of this program results in an Associate in Applied Science degree (AAS).

If you have a passion for helping others and want to make a real difference in their lives, consider a Nursing career.

Employment of Registered Nurses is projected to grow 15% from 2016 to 2026, much faster than the average for all occupations!

Practical experience and externships provide students with an opportunity to assist and work in a variety of settings, both in our on-site laboratory and through an externship at a local hospital. Students learn to work and communicate effectively within a medical setting

What our Graduates Say:

"My experience at Swedish was flawless from start to finish. For this, I give credit to the highly motivated and dedicated staff, from the admissions office all the way to the president. I want to especially thank Ms. Hillory Thorpe -- professor, adviser, veteran and now Dean of the Nursing program -- for believing in me."
